Assess Your Current Culture

Get clarity on what’s happening right now. In this phase you’ll answer the question, “Where are we now?” In order to build a pathway for the culture you aspire to, you’ll need to have a clear understanding of what is true about your culture right now.

In the Assess Phase we will:

  • Facilitate a customized culture survey with your team based upon our Culture Hierarchy of Needs.
  • Analyze the results of your culture survey and from the results, identify the 3 most critical areas of focus.
  • Assess the core issues inhibiting the performance of your team and create a plan to address the core issues immediately.

 

Define Your Desired Culture

The define phase is about dreaming. It’s about answering the question, “Who are we and how do we want to work together to achieve our mission?” You’ll paint the picture of the preferred future for your team.

In the Define Phase we will:

  • Build  a Culture Team who will help bring clarity to the culture you aspire to. 
  • Answer the question, “Who are we at our best?” 
  • Define the culture you aspire to and build a pathway for achieving that culture using our values framework which involves clarifying the values, beliefs and behaviors essential for your team to succeed together.


Build Your Dream Culture

In the build phase you’ll answer the question,“What will it take?” Now that you’ve defined where you are and clarified where you want to be, it’s time to build a plan to close the gap between your actual and aspirational culture. In this phase you’ll build the systems to support you and the rhythms that reinforce your culture every day.

In the Build Phase we will:

  • Build a plan to implement your cultural values at every stage of the employee
    lifecycle, infusing the core elements of your culture into the every day rhythms of 
work. 
  • Learn and live into the building blocks for sustaining great organizational culture. 
  • Support you through the implementation of your culture strategy with monthly coaching calls. 
  • Define the leaders, systems, and routines that will enable you to continue to build upon our work.


Equip Your Team

The equip phase is about identifying your immediate and long-term commitment to developing leaders at all levels of the organization to ensure they are equipped to effectively lead your culture. You’ll address the question, “How will we lead culture effectively?”

In the Equip Phase we will:

  • Identify opportunities for training and development of your people managers and build a plan to equip them to support the culture you aspire to.
  • Using our Culture Engagement Funnel as a guide, ensure that every team member is listening, learning, experiencing, embodying, and teaching your culture.

Commit to the Culture Plan

The final phase is about instilling your commitment to the plan you’ve designed. You’ll answer the question, “How do we maintain momentum?” Learn how to sustain the culture you’ve built with rhythms, coaching, and reinforcement.

In the Commit Phase we will:

  • Support you through the implementation of your culture strategy with coaching support.
  • Re-assess the culture, measure progress towards your defined outcomes, and define steps for continuous improvement.
